The pleadings form the foundation of litigation and a well drafted pleading may play a very important role in the favourable outcome of the proceedings. The art of learning to draft is an evolving process and can only be mastered by getting cues from industry experts and practice. A pleading drafted by you may be the best in your opinion, however, as a matter of fact and matter of process, this pleading must also be drafted in accordance with your client’s expectation and requirements, and more importantly, must be convincing to the end reader i.e. the Hon’ble Judge. This goes to the very core principle of drafting a pleading to maintain a balance and drafting keeping in mind the perspective of your client and the bench i.e the Hon’ble Judge(s).
Therefore, we bring you the most appropriate panel of speakers consisting of the best of the Bench, the Bar and the Academician, with a cumulative experience of over 100 years in this field. The speakers collectively as a panel will teach you how to draft major pleadings of civil litigation and at the same time provide you with the best practices and tips from their perspective as an Hon’ble Judge, as an advocate on record, as a client and as an academician.
